COVID-19 Safety Plan

From casual exercise to fitness training, competitions and events, it’s easy to get fit and enhance your sporting performance at the Sydney International Regatta Centre. Our facilities include:

  • A world-class 2300 metre rowing and sprint kayak waterway
  • 1500 metre warm-up lake
  • Five kilometre flat walking and cycle path
  • 178 hectares of bush and landscaped parkland
  • Parallel access roadway
  • Outdoor Gym Equipment
  • All-in-one triathlon / duathlon venue
  • Dedicated 500m swim lane in Competition Lake
  • Designed to Olympic and Paralympic Access guidelines

Whether you’re a professional athlete, school group, club or individual, take your fitness training to the next level at the Sydney International Regatta Centre. Join one of our regular community activities, or train yourself and prepare for competition.

Note: Organised group training, boot camps and personal trainer led activities where participants are paying a fee are required to book with the venue in advance, and casual use fees will apply.

Casual use fees apply for all on-water training and swim training. Pre-booking is required and is subject to events happening at the venue. Please contact no later than 3 days in advance to allow time for bookings to be processed and approved. When arriving you must sign into the Venue Operations Centre located immediately to your left as you enter the venue gates. Please sign out on exit in the same location.

Cyclists, please note that speed limits apply and are clearly sign posted on the paths. You are required to abide by these limits. To use the paths in race conditions, please joing Penrith Cycling Club and participate in their events where the paths are closed to other users, or contact us to exclusively book the paths. Part of the cycle path is a shared roadway with vehicles, following the speed limit ensures a safe environment for all.

The Sydney International Regatta Centre is open to the general public for recreational use on event-free days. Please refer to the centre's opening hours for more information.
