During events, sections of, or the entire venue may not available for public recreation for the safety of all patrons. We recommend regularly visiting this page before you visit to avoid disappointment at the gate if an event is taking place with no public recreation access available. |

General Venue Hours
* Note - We are currently in the peak of our event season, and as such, access for public recreation is limited due to major events, and event set up / pack down requirements. Please check before coming down if the venue is open to public recreation or not.
The general venue operating hours outside of event days are 06:30 gates open, and 17:00 venue close, with last entry to the venue / walking and cycle paths is at 16:00.
During daylight savings (commencing Sunday 6 October, 2024) operating hours outside of event days are 06:30 gates open, and 19:30 venue close, with last entry to the venue / walking and cycle paths at 18:30.
Parking
On non-event days, all public parking is free in the P3 carpark. Once you enter Gate A, turn right at the entry screen and park in marked bays to then access the walking and cycle paths.
Access to parking on the Island is restricted to events, training and restaurant bookings only, and a pre-issued access code is required to pass through the boom gates.
At no time are vehicles permitted to be driven on the paths, or grassed areas.
During some events a parking fee is payable at the gate on arrival via Eftpos.
On Water Training
No access to the water is permitted without a confirmed booking, and all bookings require 72 hours notice.
Bookings for on water training are subject to availability / other event requirement. To make a booking you can call 02 4730 0000 during business hours or e-mail regatta@sport.nsw.gov.au for a booking form.
