All on-water training must be pre-booked with the office at least 72 hours before the planned session.

The venue is closed  to public recreation for events on:
Saturday 25 January -  Rowing NSW Small Boats Regatta | $10 parking fee

Saturday 22 February -  Kings, PLC, Rowing NSW Regatta | $10 parking fee
Sunday 23 February -  IGSA Rowing Regatta | $10 parking fee

Opening Hours

The Sydney International Regatta Centre is an event venue that opens to public recreation where possible on non-event days. Gate times and availability for public recreation are subject to events and may change at short notice.

Penrith Lakes Environmental Education Centre (PLEEC) provides quality curriculum related fieldwork programs for students (K-12) and is located on-site. Call 4730 3630 for information.

Ironman 70.3 Western Sydney

Australian Dragon Boat Championships

The 28th Auschamps for Dragon Boating will be held at SIRC between 26 April and 01 May 2025. More details coming.

Water Quality Management

Dogs must be kept on leash

Dogs are welcome to join you on your walk around the lakes, but please ensure they remain on leash at all times and are cleaned up after. Dogs are not permitted to enter the water at any time.

Drones are not permitted to be flown at the venue without permission from Venue Management. Recreational flying is not permitted at any time.

The Office of Sport’s incident reporting system will help to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all employees and visitors.

Lakeside Restaurant

Lakeside Restaurant is located on site behind the main grandstand on the Island and opens for dining on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights and weekend brunch (pending events). A kiosk also operates on weekends and during events. Call (02) 4729 3222 for booking enquiries or find them on facebook for current opening hours and promotions.
