The Office of Sport operates four facilities across the Metro Region, providing the sporting and wider communities with valued places to train, compete and relax in Greater Sydney.

Sydney Academy of Sport

Just 25 kilometres from the Sydney CBD, Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation provides a range of services, sport facilities and accommodation options for school camps, family camps, kids’ camps, conferences and expos, weekend getaways, sporting events, community programs, corporate programs and more.

Located on the northern beaches, Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation is surrounded by natural bushland with magnificent views of Narrabeen Lake and world-class sports training grounds and facilities.

Sydney International Equestrian Centre

Sydney International Equestrian Centre is a world-class event venue set on 96 hectares of rural parkland only 40 minutes west of the Sydney CBD.

Purpose-built for the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Sydney International Equestrian Centre continues to offer some of the finest equestrian facilities in the world. The venue is capable of delivering international, national, state and club equestrian events, community events, festivals, corporate and social events, sporting events and much more. The venue also provides an attractive setting for film and television productions and photo shoots.

Sydney International Regatta Centre

A spectacular event venue for either 10 or 30,000 people, Sydney International Regatta Centre offers superior event facilities and is one of the region’s premier outdoor sport and entertainment venues for both on and off the water.

Only an hour’s drive northwest of Sydney CBD, the venue was purpose-built for the 2000 Sydney Olympics and Paralympics. It is one of the best rowing and sprint kayak courses in the world and sprawls over 178 scenic hectares boasting scenic views of Penrith Lakes, the Lower Blue Mountains and surrounding parkland.

Sydney International Shooting Centre

Sydney International Shooting Centre offers superior event facilities set on 80 hectares of semi-rural bushland in the heart of Western Sydney only 50 minutes west of Sydney CBD.

Purpose-built for the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the venue is one of the best shooting venues in the world and is capable of delivering international, national, state or club shooting events. With multi-purpose facilities the venue also lends itself to corporate and social events, conference and trade shows, community and sporting events and much more.
