In 2021, the NSW Government announced additional funding to help actively promote women into leadership roles in sporting organisations across the State.
This included funding to nine State Sporting Organisations (SSOs) for leadership projects to increase the number of exciting new leadership opportunities for women in sports-based roles both on and off the field.
The funding boost was in addition to $640,000 announced through the Her Sport Her Way Grant Program.
