Penrith Whitewater Stadium offers exclusive paddling opportunities for all types of whitewater paddlers, including slalom, freestyle, creeking, inflatable kayaking and packrafting. All Boats Paddling sessions are open to all Grade 3 competent whitewater paddlers. Downstream slalom gates are permitted. All your paddling fun takes place under the friendly supervision of our highly trained staff. First-time users will also need to complete a one-time Grade 3 Kayaking Skills Competency Assessment with Penrith Whitewater Stadium staff prior to accessing the whitewater channel.
Session information:
Safety: First time paddlers will be required to undertake a competency assessment before accessing the whitewater. All sessions are under the supervision of PWS staff.
Adventure level: Moderate to high
Fitness level: Physically fit, a strong swimmer and very confident in the water
Duration: 60 minutes
Minimum Age: 10 years
Experience: Competent in Grade 3 whitewater
