Active Fest Frequently Asked Questions

The Office of Sport has identified 52 LGA’s that have been significantly impacted by Covid lockdown. The Office may seek suppliers to run an Active Fest Event in any one of the 52 LGA’s.

Identified LGA’s include 40 from regional NSW and 12 from Southwestern Sydney. 

Yes. The fixed fee payable for delivery of Active Fest Event Series is as follows:

  • Event targeting single LGA maximum $10,000 allocation
  • This can be multiple locations within the same event series

Yes, if the supplier can identify how the funding can enhance the physical activity opportunities and achieve the RFQ objectives, although the funding must only go towards the new portion of the event.

Yes, up to $500 will be allocated to cover costs associated with administration.

Yes, up to $500 will be allocated to the provision of music.

Yes, multiple requests can be received from within an LGA.

The Office of Sport Active Fest team will support suppliers with marketing and promotional needs through a toolkit available from the Office of Sport Website .
 
In addition, the Active Fest team will assist in planning the Active Fest Events where required. Please contact the regional contact officer listed in the RFQ. 

No. The Request for Quotation will be assessed by a panel. The assessment process does not allow for any late submissions. 

If you have any questions regarding the Request for Quotation, please contact the regional contact officer listed in the RFQ in advance of the closing date and in time to seek assistance. 

Following the closing date, the assessment panel will assess all applications. The length of time may depend on the number of requests received. Generally, the process may take up to 2 weeks.
