Penrith Whitewater Stadium offers recreational paddling sessions for paddlers with canoes, kayaks, inflatable kayaks or packrafts so why not experience the excitement of our 320 metre Grade 3 whitewater course and test your skills!
All your paddling fun takes place under the friendly supervision of our highly trained Activity Instructors. Users will also need to complete a one-time Grade 3 Kayaking Skills Competency Assessment with Penrith Whitewater Stadium staff prior to accessing the whitewater channel.
Session information:
Safety: First time kayak visitors will be required to undertake a competency assessment before accessing the whitewater. All trips are under the supervision of our Activity Instructors.
Adventure level: Moderate to high
Fitness level: Physically fit, a strong swimmer and very confident in the water
Duration: 60 minutes or longer depending upon water availability
Minimum Age: 12 years
Experience: Competent in Grade 3 whitewater
