Review of the Motor Vehicle Sports (Public Safety) Act 1985
The Office of Sport is reviewing the NSW Motor Vehicle Sports (Public Safety) Act 1985 (the MVSPS Act) and we would like to hear your views.
We have had initial discussions with key stakeholders on their views on the existing regulatory program and possible changes to improve the regulation of the motor sport industry.
A consultation paper has been prepared to explore the issues raised during consultations, challenges for the effective operation of the industry and options for improving the legislation. This paper is complemented by a survey open to the public, distributed to stakeholders and available to complete below.
Written submissions should be to the Office of Sport at email@example.com on the issues raised in this paper and other matters of relevance.
The closing date for both written submissions and completed surveys is Friday 29 November 2019.
The consultation paper and the survey explore the issues raised during consultations, challenges for the effective operation of the industry, and options for improving the legislation.
