A spectacular venue for extreme fun or special events, Penrith Whitewater Stadium is one of only a few man-made rivers of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Located one hour west of Sydney at the foothills of the Blue Mountains and the Nepean River, the venue is ideal for a day trip or stay in the Penrith Valley region.

2025 ICF Slalom World Championships
Fans will see more than 300 athletes from 50 nations, including Australian Olympic gold medalists Jessica and Noemie Fox, as well as Paris Olympians Tim Anderson and Tristan Carter. Across six days from 29 October - 4 November 2025.
