Slalom Training
Penrith Whitewater Stadium was purpose built as the competition venue for the Canoe and Kayak Slalom events during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. The venue has now been confirmed as the competition venue for the 2025 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships.
Penrith Whitewater Stadium offers exclusive training sessions for local, interstate and international canoe slalom paddlers who are Grade 3 whitewater competent.
Open Slalom Training
Minimum Age: 10 years
Duration: 1 hour
Experience: Grade 3 competent
Price: $40.00 per person
Bookings are essential and can be made online. To operate an Open Slalom Training session, a minimum of 20 people must be registered for the session to proceed.
Open Kayak Cross Training
Minimum Age: 10 years
Duration: 1 hour
Experience: Grade 3 competent

2025 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships Official Training
The International Canoe Federation and Penrith Whitewater Stadium will be running official training sessions for the 2025 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships from Monday 27 – Friday 31 January 2025.
