What our guests say

The NSW Blues would like to extend a massive thankyou to the fantastic staff of Milson Island for welcoming us to your beautiful island on the Hawkesbury for our pre-season camp. The Milson Island team couldn’t have been more welcoming or accommodating in designing & delivering a fun, varied and hands-on two days of activities, with the Amazing Race format getting the competitive juices of our squad flowing and providing a wide range of challenges to test the mind and body.

We arrived (via kayaks) with the twin goals of building on the positive connections across the playing squad & providing a different sort of test for our athletes to overcome, and our time on island more than delivered on both fronts. Whether it was in the pool, on the courts, out in the bush or on the river, the challenges kept coming, and so did the laughter.

We were kept superbly fed & watered throughout by the kitchen crew, who didn’t miss once in providing fantastic meals – with the possible exception of the dry Weetbix eating challenge! – and despite being within easy reach of Sydney our stay offered a remote, distraction-free opportunity to reconnect with nature, both on land and water. The holiday units suited our accommodation needs well and provided plenty of space for the players & coaches to relax and recover after full days of competition.

Milson Island has built a great reputation off the back of their outstanding work with school groups, but we can thoroughly recommend it as a team-building destination for the big kids too – so thank you again to Milson Island from Cricket NSW and we look forward to seeing you again.
