Newcastle Sports Concussion Seminar

Hunter New England Health will host a public seminar on the latest research and guidelines for return-to-play after an on-field concussion this month. The seminar will feature former Newcastle Knight rugby league players Paul Harragon, Timana Tahu and Marc Glanville sharing their personal experiences with on-field concussion.

Professor Chris Levi, Neurologist and Co-Director of Hunter New England Health’s (HNEH) Sport Concussion Clinic and Dr Andrew Gardner Clinical Neuropsychologist and fellow Co-Director of HNEH's Sport Concussion Clinic facilitate the seminar which is will provide valuable insights for parents, coaches, athletes, and sports administrators.

The Sports Concussion Public Seminar will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Caves Theatre, Level 4, HMRI Building Lot 1 Kookaburra Circuit, New Lambton Heights.
