Better equip your sporting organisation to manage member concerns and complaints by attending the Office of Sport’s Member Protection Information Officer training session this month in Newcastle.
A Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) workshop will be held at Hunter Surf Life Saving, Tighes Hill on Monday, 23 September to provide training to local sports clubs or associations to manage issues such as harassment, discrimination, abuse and general matters of concern.
Completion of free, online training through Play By The Rules is required prior to attending face-to-face training. To complete this training go to www.playbytherules.net.au/online-courses
The face-to-face workshop costs $25 and will be held from 6.00-9.00pm at Hunter Surf Life Saving Unit 1/6 Revelation Close, Tighes Hill. Bookings are essential.
