Workshop to keep children safe at sport coming to Dubbo

June 2019

Creating a child safe culture is vital for everyone associated with local sport and recreation clubs.  The Office of Sport will host a free workshop on Wednesday, 24 July in Dubbo on how to create safer sporting environments for children and young people.

Developed using materials from the Office of the Children’s Guardian, the Child Safe Sport workshop provides club committees, administrators and volunteers with practical ways to be more child safe.

The workshop will also introduce a range of resources, tools and templates that will assist officials to safeguard children in sport.
