‘Parents’ Guide to Clean Sport’ online course

May 2019

For young athletes, the pressure to train hard, compete and achieve at the highest level can lead them to take dangerous shortcuts. The Parents’ Guide to Clean Sport gives parents a better understanding of the important role they play in teaching children respect and appreciation for the true spirit of sport.

This 45-minute online course empowers parents to help their children make the right decisions in their sporting careers, including how to protect children from turning to performance enhancing drugs and drug use.

The course has been developed by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), as part of the Play by the Rules program, which has a focus on upholding the integrity of sport and keeping children safe.
